Our Story

Hello! I'm Charmaine Nicole, founder of the Charming Chapel. After 10 years of working with couples as a wedding officiant and premarital counselor, I wanted to create a chapel that focused on helping couples have the intimate meaningful ceremonies so that they could invest their money where it matters most - Their Marriage!

Frequently Asked Questions

How many people can fit in your venue?

Our venue can fit up to 44 guests. Couples can add additional guests to the Minimony & Microwedding packages for a fee.

Can I rent the venue without other services?

Yes, venue rental is available for elopements and other events. Please inquiry to get more details.

Do you offer same day services?

We are able to offer same day service for many of our services. However, we do not accept walk-ins. You must book an appointment to be served. For same day service, we suggest you call.

When should we schedule our date?

For the Microwedding, we ideally like to have a minimum of three weeks to arrange this service. However, we can accommodate planning it in a shorter timeframe, contingent on our availability.

Do I need to bring witnesses?

Witnesses are not required in the State of Ohio, however, you can bring two witnesses to sign the souvenir certificate.

How do I obtain my marriage license?

For residents of the State of Ohio, you must obtain your license from the probate court in the county where you reside.

For residents outside of the State of Ohio, you must obtain a marriage license from the Montgomery County Probate Court.

You must get married within 60 days of getting your license.
